He is known as the “Michael Jackson of K-pop” or the “idol of idols” and is already considered a legend at just 33 years old. We are, of course, talking about Taemin, the youngest member of the equally legendary boy group SHINee, with whom he has been performing on stage for more than 18 years. In November, the superstar will finally return to Europe to perform his new album “PHASE 1 : SOFT VIOLENCE” live!
Since his solo debut with the mini album ACE in 2014, Taemin has created an artistic identity unlike any other with hits such as “Move” and “Criminal.” He is best known as a gifted dancer who fuses contemporary dance, voguing, and classic K-pop choreography in his performances.
Over the years, he has increasingly demonstrated his talent as a singer and is now known for his clear, expressive voice, which gives his songs a unique intensity. Taemin also has a distinctive visual style. Through fluid movements and gender-neutral fashion, he challenges traditional gender roles and inspires not only his fans but also entire generations of idols who look up to him.
And although Taemin has already achieved so much, he continues to reach new milestones in 2026. In April, he became the first Korean male solo artist ever to headline the renowned Coachella Festival. There, he impressed audiences from around the world with six new songs, all featured on his new album “PHASE 1 : SOFT VIOLENCE”.
The album will be released on August 31, 2026, and comes in four different physical versions, all of which you can pre-order from our shop! You can look forward to 11 new songs, almost all composed and written by Taemin. The singer not only teased half of the tracklist at Coachella but also released a pre-release single with an accompanying music video on YouTube a week ago. In “This is The End”, Taemin explains that even after the end of everything, he will rise from the ashes once again.
We have no doubt whatsoever that Taemin’s new World Tour “LiMiNaL” will bring breathtaking performances, and we definitely don’t want to miss them!
2026–27 TAEMIN WORLD TOUR <LiMiNaL>
The word “liminal” is derived from the Latin word “limen”, meaning “to be on the threshold”. It therefore describes a transitional state in which the usual rules no longer apply. In recent years, Taemin has changed entertainment agencies twice and may still be in a transitional phase himself—one he wants to explore through the tour.
On September 18, the superstar will kick off the tour in Seoul and continue it in America in October. You should keep November free, because Taemin will then visit 6 different cities near us:
- November 16: Paris (France)
- November 18: Berlin (Germany)
- November 20: Frankfurt (Germany)
- November 22: London (England)
- November 24: Amsterdam (Netherlands)
Anyone who didn’t manage to get tickets for the last tour shouldn’t give up hope just yet, because this time Taemin will be performing in larger arenas! For example, 12,500 seats will be available in London this time, compared with only 3,000 in 2025. This doesn’t apply to every date, but German fans, for example, can choose between two different cities this time—Berlin & Frankfurt. Last year, only Frankfurt was on the list. Not everything is final yet either, as according to the tour poster, further details are expected to be announced. With a bit of luck, more concerts in Europe may be planned!
