The label has produced numerous stars such as Girls' Generation, SHINee, Red Velvet, and NCT. This year, SM unveiled plans to debut a brand-new boygroup and has finally revealed some details. Additionally, the SM girlgroup Aespa is planning a comeback!

These thrilling announcements have undoubtedly sparked great anticipation among K-pop fans worldwide.

The new boy group is called "RIIZE" and will step into the spotlight in September!

The name "RIIZE" is a combination of the English words "RISE" and "REALIZE", meaning that the group will rise together and achieve their dreams. SM confidently states that RIIZE will consist of seven very talented and good looking members.

While fans eagerly await the official introduction of the members, there is much speculation about the group's musical style and concept. SM has labeled RIIZE as an "emotional pop" group, where the members express their various emotions through music.

Known for their trailblazing approach to music, SM Entertainment is expected to push boundaries and redefine the K-pop genre once again with RIIZE's debut.

On August 1st at 0:00, the official Instagram account will be launched, so we won't have to wait long to get to know the members. Perhaps there will be some familiar faces?

In May, SM Entertainment announced that Sungchan and Shotaro left NCT and would debut in a new boygroup this year. It can only be RIIZE. Are you looking forward to seeing them again?

Aespa, the innovative girlgroup known for their virtual avatars and captivating performances, has announced their return with a new single titled "Better Things".On Twitter, you can already find the first colorful teasers that hint at a summery concept.

The single comes nearly three months after the release of their third mini-album "My World", which included the title track "Spicy".

It continued Aespa's streak of success, topping the Korean Circle Album Chart and selling over two million copies in just two weeks. The album also made an impact on the US charts, reaching the top of the Billboard World Album and Top Album Sales charts and securing the 9th spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

Fans can't seem to get enough of the song, as the music video has garnered over 99 million views in just under two months since its release! As of July 31, 2023, 10:50, it stands at 99,544,175 views. How long do you think it will take for Aespa to reach the 100 million mark?
