For international fans, it's not always easy to attend a concert by their favorite artist. Even on world tours, only one or two concerts take place in each country, so it's very hard to get tickets. That's exactly why we're always so happy when a K-Pop star releases a DVD of their tour, because then we can all be a part of it! The newest DVD in our shop is for all the Suga and BTS fans out there!
SUGA / Agust D (BTS) - TOUR 'D-DAY' in JAPAN (DVD & BLU-RAY)
The DVD and Blu-ray won't be released until February 20, 2024, but you can already pre-order them now. Don't wait too long if you want to secure a copy!
As you probably know, this year Suga performed concerts in Asia and North America as part of his first world tour. The tour, titled “Suga Agust D Tour”, began at the end of April and ended at the beginning of August. It comprised a total of 28 concerts, and the DVD shares an excerpt of them with fans all around the world! It contains footage from the concerts in Japan, both of the performances and of behind-the-scenes glimpses.
And of course, not only the footage awaits you, but also a photobook and lots of cool extras!
You have the choice between the DVD version and the Blu-ray version, which are both set up very similarly. You'll probably admire the box itself first before opening it, because the acrylic cover shows an impressive picture of Suga on stage. And inside the box you'll find lots of special collector's items, such as the DVDs/ Blu-rays. You get two discs each, housed in an elegant steel package.
You can also look forward to a 30-page photobook and a 28-page lyric book. And of course the popular photocards can't be missing either! Each box contains a Heat photocard and one of two possible Lenticular photocards.
As if all of that weren't enough, there's also a mini hologram poster and a flip book! The flip book is our personal highlight, because you rarely find something like that as an extra in K-Pop.
What are you most looking forward to?
It's worth it for collectors to get both boxes, because most of the extras are designed differently depending on the version!
The photobook and the lyric book are very similar in both boxes, but everything else differs. The motifs on the photocards, the poster and the flip book of the DVD version are different from those in the Blu-ray version. The cover of the box is different too. Do you have a favorite?
The fan packages are a big highlight for fans, especially since Suga has been in the military since the end of September. The rapper won't return until 2025, so we'll have to manage almost two years without new music from him. But when you're sitting at home in front of the TV watching the DVDs, you can feel very close to Suga for a while. Are you looking forward to it?
