As you may know, the five-member girl group ITZY finished their first World Tour CHECKMATE in April. Ryujin, Chaeryeong and the rest of the group have been thrilling their fans in Asia and North America since August with performances of hits like Dalla Dalla, Wannabe and many more. Today, ITZY announced a DVD and a Blu-ray with footage from the concerts in Seoul. Thanks to them, tour attendees can relive the unforgettable moments!
But the DVD is also a special gift for all Midzys who couldn't be there. They get insights into the tour and can comfortably watch the performances at home on the sofa.
Not only high-quality footage awaits you, but also lots of exclusive extras! We've summarized all the details for you in this article:
2022 ITZY 1ST WORLD TOUR - CHECKMATE IN SEOUL (DVD)
The DVD version comes with a 140-page photobook filled with colorful, high-quality photos from the concert.
On top of that come a photo stand, a bookmark set and a 4X6 photo set. Both sets contain five pieces, one of each ITZY member. So nothing is left to chance!
The highlight, of course, is the two DVDs: together they contain about 215 minutes of footage from the tour. So you can admire ITZY on your screen for three and a half hours!
All the contents are held together by a stylish purple case with a chessboard on the cover.
The DVD will be released on July 26 and will be shipped from Germany around mid-August.
2022 ITZY 1ST WORLD TOUR - CHECKMATE IN SEOUL (BLU-RAY)
The Blu-ray contains the same footage as the DVD, but the extras are completely different!
Buyers get a 24-page photobook, a folded poster and a photo card set! This set also consists of five pieces, so you get one card of each member. So your bias is definitely included! The case of the Blu-ray is black, also with a chessboard on the cover.
This version will be released on August 30 and will be shipped from Germany around mid-September.
Have you already decided on a version? Or will you get both to collect all the extras?
We hope that ITZY will announce a new album soon, after all, the last one was already half a year ago! On November 30, the girl group presented “Cheshire” with the title track of the same name and the English pre-release single “Boys Like You”.
