After a long break, the most successful K-Pop girl group in the world is finally getting back together: Lisa, Rosé and co. are kicking off a new Blackpink World Tour in July with concerts in Asia, North America and Europe! The tour promises to be another highlight in Blackpink's success story:
Ever since their contracts with YG ended, the members of Blackpink have mostly been active as solo artists. Of course, Rosé, Lisa and co. had already released solo albums before, but over the past few months they have expanded their careers even further. Within just 3 months, fans get to celebrate 4 solo comebacks: Rosé kicked things off with her first studio album “rosie” on December 6, followed by Jisoo's first mini album “Amortage” on February 14. Now it's only a few days until the release of Lisa's studio album “Alter Ego”, and Jennie is also waiting in the wings. Her first studio album “Ruby” comes out on March 10!

Hits like Rosé's “APT.”, Lisa's “Rockstar” and Jisoo's “earthquake” clearly show that Blackpink is still at the top of the K-Pop industry, even though their last album as a group was more than 2 years ago. The second studio album “Born Pink” came out in September 2022, just one month before the start of the second world tour, the “Born Pink World Tour”.
So is there hope that a new Blackpink album will be released soon to celebrate the new tour? We're keeping our fingers firmly crossed, even though it's hard to imagine that Jennie and co. will also find time for recording together alongside their solo projects and the tour.
Either way, the upcoming concerts will undoubtedly be a musical spectacle!
BLACKPINK 2025 WORLD TOUR
On February 5, a teaser for the 2025 WORLD TOUR was uploaded to Blackpink's official Twitter account, causing excitement around the world. A new poster fueled the anticipation last night, because it presents 10 dates in 7 different countries and 3 US states!
The concerts take place in July, August and January:

- July 12: Los Angeles (California, USA)
- July 18: Chicago (Illinois, USA)
- July 22: Toronto (Canada)

- August 2: Paris (France)

- August 9: Barcelona (Spain)

The 2025 WORLD TOUR is Blackpink's third world tour:
The first world tour, the “In Your Area World Tour (2018–2020)”, marked a significant milestone in the group's career. With shows in Asia, North America, Europe and Oceania, the tour drew more than 472,000 fans and became the most successful tour by a K-Pop girl group at the time!

The “Born Pink World Tour (2022–2023)” surpassed this success by far and set several records: With a total of 1.8 million visitors, it is still the most-attended concert tour by a girl group to this day. The tour included shows in North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Middle East, with 540,000 fans attending in North America alone. With revenue of 148.3 million US dollars from 29 shows, Blackpink surpassed the previous record held by the Spice Girls by almost double!
During the tour, Blackpink set new standards as the first girl group to perform in stadiums such as Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Oracle Park in San Francisco and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. They were also the first K-Pop artists to play a stadium concert in Mexico City, and the first female acts to perform at the National Stadium in Bangkok. These achievements underline Blackpink's global reach and influence in the music industry.

The upcoming tour is undoubtedly another significant milestone in K-Pop history. Will you be there?
