It's been almost 10 months since Bang Yedam left the boy band Treasure. Since then, fans have been wondering what his future holds and when he will return to the stage. Yesterday the singer finally spoke out on Instagram and shared some exciting news:

Bang Yedam has left YG Entertainment and found a new agency!
In his Instagram Post he thanked his fans for their support and explained that he has joined GF Entertainment. In addition to Yedam, the agency currently only has the boy band Kingdom under contract, which made its debut in 2020.
This new move could mean that Yedam will soon return to his fans after his long break, most likely as a solo artist.
He has shown his potential to go solo with his own digital single “Wayo”, which was released in 2020:
Yedam also regularly released covers and enchanted us with his beautiful voice. There are definitely quite a few fans who want their own album from the talented singer!
The separation from YG Entertainment comes as a surprise because Yedam was based there for 10 years.

In 2012 he took part in the Korean talent show “K-Pop Star Season 2”. Although he was just 10 years old at the time, Yedam impressed the judges - BoA, JYP's founder J.Y. Park and YG's founder Yang Hyunsuk - with his singing talent and even made it to the finals! He took second place behind sibling duo AKMU and signed a contract with YG Entertainment in 2013. Yedam trained there for seven years until he debuted in the twelve-member boy band Treasure in August 2020.
We wish Yedam much success in his new home and hope to hear from him again soon!
