If you've been following Twice's Japanese social media channels in the last few hours, you've already heard the big news. In case you missed it, we'll summarize everything important for you here:

Twice's first subunit will debut in July!

It's called MISAMO. The name already gives away who the members are: Mina, Sana and Momo.

The three are often referred to as the "Twice Japanese Line" or "Twice J-Line" for short, as they are the three Japanese members of the girl group. And now the J-Line will finally conquer the stage as a trio!

Already since Monday so-called opening trailers are uploaded on the Japanese Youtube Channel, starting with Mina, followed by Sana and Momo:

On the Japanese Twitter account also opening trailer photos were published, two of each member and yesterday two of the whole trio. In addition, there are already details about the debut of the unit.

On July 26th 2023 the first album will be released: MISAMO JAPAN 1st MINI ALBUM

The tweet with this announcement also includes a link that will take you to a Japanese website of MISAMO .

This tells us, for example, that the mini album will contain six songs, including the soundtrack "Bouquet" from the Japanese drama "Liaison: Children Heart Clinic". You can already listen to the soundtrack, as it came out on January 25; there's even a making music video of Mina, Sana and Momo on Youtube:

In addition, the versions of the album are already listed, which are currently already printed according to the website. There is a wide range to choose from, as there will be a normal edition with a CD, a First Press Limited Deluxe Edition with a CD and DVD, and three Member Editions (Mina Edition, Sana Edition, and Momo Edition), which also include a CD and DVD each.

July is still some time away. But luckily Twice fans can already look forward to the new Twice album READY TO BE on March 10th. You can currently pre-order it in our store! So the time until the debut of MISAMO will surely pass quickly.

The first Subunit after more than 7 years in the business!

The first subunit comes seven years and nine months after the debut of Twice on October 20, 2015. Just last year, moreover, the first member of Twice made her solo debut. Namely, on June 24, 2022, Nayeon presented her first album IM NAYEON.
