About CHOOM
“CHOOM” isn’t just the title of the new single — it’s also the Korean word for “dance” and the name of the accompanying album. It’s BABYMONSTER’s third mini album, and already the second one without Rami, who has been on hiatus since May 2025 due to ongoing health issues.
The lyrics revolve around the desire to make the most of the night. BABYMONSTER wants to enjoy the moment right here, right now, and repeatedly invites listeners to join the party and dance.
Fittingly, the music video relies heavily on choreography and group dynamics: powerful, precise moves, frequent lighting changes, and fast camera movements reinforce the song’s energy.
