About GIANT
The album sold over 500 thousand copies in its first week alone, topping both the Japanese Oricon Chart and the Billboard Japan Hot 100 Chart.
About 4 months later, Stray Kids released the Korean single album “Mixtape: Dominate” to celebrate their 7th anniversary. It’s a digital album that came out on March 21, four days before the anniversary. It includes 4 brand-new unit songs as well as the Korean version of “GIANT.”
Lyrically, “GIANT” is a metaphor for personal growth and overcoming inner limits. The lyrics speak of the desire to grow beyond yourself, even when you feel small, lost, or underestimated. Stray Kids also use it to express that they work hard and never take anything for granted, no matter how famous they become.
