BIOGRAPHY
Yeonjun (최연준), is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He is a member of the boy band “Tomorrow X Together” (TXT), which debuted in March 2019 under Big Hit Entertainment. Yeonjun made his solo debut in September 2024 with the song "Ggum".
Yeonjun was born on September 13, 1999 in Seongbuk District, Seoul, South Korea, an only child. After graduating from Korean Arts High School, he enrolled at Global Cyber University.
Yeonjun began his career as a trainee at Cube Entertainment before successfully passing the audition at Big Hit Music in 2014 with the song “Boy in Luv” by BTS. He then began his training at Big Hit Entertainment.
Yeonjun trained there for four years (2014-2019) and became known as the company's "legendary trainee" as he consistently ranked first in the monthly ratings in the dance, singing and rap categories. His training time is the longest among any of Big Hit's artists, including his TXT bandmates.
Yeonjun was the first member of TXT to be introduced to the public. This was done through an introductory video released on Big Hit's official YouTube and social media channels. On March 4, 2019, he officially debuted with TXT by releasing their first mini album “The Dream Chapter: Star”.
In addition to his group activities, Yeonjun also showed his versatility as an artist. He was a backup dancer for BTS member V's solo performance "Singularity" and was announced as the new host of the South Korean music show "Inkigayo" in March 2022.
With his skills in rapping, dancing and singing, Yeonjun has earned a solid place in the K-pop scene through his dedication and talent and is considered a standout in the industry.

“TOMORROW X TOGETHER”, or “TXT” for short, are considered one of the first boy groups of the 4th generation and have left a distinctive mark on the K-pop industry with a discography spanning a wide range of genres such as synth-pop, disco, hip-hop, punk and hybrid rock. They are known for their fantastic concepts that pay homage to a variety of films/animations/fairy tales such as Harry Potter, Peter Pan, The Little Prince and others. They attach great importance to the narrative element of their discography - their albums have the words “chapters”, “scenes” and “minisodes” in the title and are reminiscent of stage dramas. - 2021: “The Chaos Chapter: Freeze” was named one of the “Best Albums of 2021” by TIME magazine, underscoring its cultural significance.
- 2022: TXT became the fastest fourth-generation K-pop group to reach 10 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel in December 2022.
- 2022: TXT became the first K-pop group to headline Lollapalooza, performing a 90-minute performance to close the festival.
- 2023: The album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” took first place on the “Billboard 200” charts.
- 2023: In 2023, TXT received the “Album Bonsang” (Grand Prize) for “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” at the Golden Disc Awards.

Yeonjun is the oldest member of TXT.

Although TXT has no official positions within the group, Yeonjun is widely regarded as the main rapper, as his expressive rap passages stand out in the songs due to his unique vocal sound.
