It has now been six months since NMIXX returned to the top of the charts with their song “Blue Valentine”. Now the girl group has announced a new album that they hope will build on their latest success. “Heavy Serenade” will be released on May 15 and can be pre-ordered from our shop starting today!
Haewon, Lily and the others celebrated the biggest success of their career so far with their last album “Blue Valentine”. The group has surpassed personal bests, some of which were still set by their debut single “O.O” in early 2022! The single quickly went viral and captivated both old and new fans with a melancholic sound and clever choreography.
European fans were lucky and got to hear the hit live shortly afterwards, as NMIXX had already kicked off their “ZERO FRONTIER“ World Tour in November 2025. In March, the singers visited five different countries, Spain and Germany. The North American leg of the tour that followed ended a few days ago – just in time for the release of the new album!
There are 3 different versions of Heavy Serenade - pick one!
NMIXX - HEAVY SERENADE
The title “Serenade” stands for a song performed for someone, originally played outdoors. Today the term describes cheerful and entertaining instrumental music, as was common in the 18th century, for example. Whether cheerful music awaits us or something completely different remains to be seen, after all the album is called “Heavy Serenade”.
The music is still unclear, but we already have all the details on the album versions!
The two Standard versions are called “Heavy” & “Serenade” and are decorated with staff lines and clefs, among other things. Each version contains a 68-page photobook, a 12-page lyric book, a decorative sticker and of course a CD.
On top of that, there are of course a few of the popular collectibles: one of 6 possible postcards, 2 of 12 photocards and one Unit photocard. (In the Heavy version there are 4 possible Unit photocards and in the Serenade version there are 3 different designs.)
If you pre-order the album, you also have the chance to get one of two folded posters! These are limited and only included while supplies last.
NMIXX - HEAVY SERENADE (POCA ALBUM VER.)
As usual, the Poca Album version tempts with lots of photocards!
You get a 15-piece NMIXX photocard set, a 6-piece Jacket photocard set and a 3-piece Jacket Unit & Group photocard set. As if that weren’t enough, every album also contains 3 of 6 possible Selfie photocards!
Also included is a QR card with an instruction manual, all neatly packed in a small box.
Please note that there are 6 different versions. Which one you get is random. The designs on the photocards differ depending on the version, except for the 3 Unit & Group photocards. Those are the same everywhere.
NMIXX - HEAVY SERENADE (MELODY BOX VER.)
The last version we are presenting to you today is by far the most exciting one!
The centerpiece is a music box that plays one of 6 NMIXX serenades. On top of that, you can look forward to a 6-piece photocard set and a 6-piece ID photo set! Thanks to the enclosed QR card and with the help of the instruction manual, you can also access exclusive digital content.
With “Heavy Serenade”, NMIXX take another step forward and promise a unique musical experience. No matter what you decide on - the lovingly designed Standard versions, the collector-friendly POCA ALBUM version or the special Melody Box version - each of them offers unique highlights that you shouldn’t miss.
So what are you waiting for? Secure your favorite version now and be there when NMIXX take the stage again in May!
