You have probably heard of the “Selca Days” that are so popular in the K-pop fan community. But what exactly are these days all about?
“Selca” is the Korean word for “selfie”. Every band has its own so-called Selca Day with its own hashtag.
On those days, fans can then post a picture of themselves together with their idol, including the matching hashtag.
The goal of the fans here is not only to support their idols, but also to support and strengthen their community.
On social media, you can easily find out when your favorite band’s Selca Day takes place!
