SM Entertainment is home to some of the most successful K-Pop group, with countless fans all over the world! So when the Season's Greetings season begins, fans eagerly wait for SM artists to unveil their packages. Especially because it has become a tradition that almost all of SM's groups announce their Season's Greetings on the same day. This year is no different!
The big day has arrived, as eight groups unveiled their 2024 Season's Greetings today: Red Velvet, aespa, TVXQ!, Super Junior, NCT Dream, NCT 127, WayV and RIIZE. Boy group RIIZE just released their debut album "Get a Guitar" on September 4, so the 2024 Season's Greeting is the first from the boys.
As always, the Season's Greetings from SM artists are all very similar in structure:
Of course, each of the eight boxes has a different concept, but the contents are almost the same. Among other things, we can expect a desk calendar with 14 pages and a stylish hard cover diary with 120 pages. We are already looking forward to being greeted by a new picture of our favorite group every month!
But that's just the beginning! The calendar and diary are complemented by many varied extras that will warm the heart of any collector.
These include two folding posters, an A4 poster set, stickers, several 4 cut photos, postcards in a matching photo holder and a photo card set. You'll also get a little surprise: a random Polaroid photo card from one of the group members.
Exactly how many pieces each set contains depends on the group:
For example, aespa Season's Greeting includes twelve A4 posters, four 4 Cut photos, four postcards and eight photo cards. In the box of NCT 127, on the other hand, you'll find twelve A4 posters, nine 4 Cut photos, nine postcards and nine photo cards.
And there is one more big difference. Each box contains another extra, which is different for each group:

Which of these extras are you most interested in?
Of course, we noticed that a few popular SM artists are still missing: SHINee, EXO and Oh!GG (Girls' Generation)
It wouldn't be the first time that a few groups joined later, so it's probably only a matter of time before we hear from them as well. The anticipation is especially high among SHINee fans because this year, all four members are finally participating in the Season's Greeting again! Last year, Taemin was not there because of his military service.
However, this year two members of these groups have left the label: Sunny from Girls Generation left in August and EXO's D.O. left on October 19. We're curious to see if they'll still be involved in the Season's Greetings. Oh!GG may be where the impact will be felt the most. The unit previously consisted of the five members who are still with SM Entertainment. Sunny's departure from SM Entertainment could mean that she has also left Oh!GG.
