Blackpink announces a comeback and big plans for 2022!

The rumors have been circulating for a while and now it's finally official: Blackpink is planning a comeback! So in August we can finally look forward to new music!

Since their debut in 2016, the girl group has released 9 albums, three of them Japanese. That's not much, especially when you consider how successful Blackpink has been since the beginning. So it's no wonder that every new song and album is eagerly awaited. The announcement of a comeback has therefore caused excitement among K-Pop fans worldwide! Especially since the last album "The Album" was already released in October 2020, 19 months ago!

According to YG Entertainment, the members of Blackpink are already almost done recording the new album and will be filming the music video in July.

Apart from the album, the label announced other big projects for Blackpink!

One of them is a world tour towards the end of the year. YG apparently has big plans, because the tour is supposed to be the biggest world tour of a K-pop girl group ever!

From the looks of it, we're in for quite a treat this year. We can hardly wait!
