Hyolyn is, after all, a former member of Sistar, the girl group known as the Summer Queens. The title obviously doesn't come out of nowhere. Sistar continuously dropped summer songs like Loving You, I Swear and Touch My Body that still count among their biggest hits today. Whenever the group announced a summer comeback, it was clear which song would be on repeat for the rest of the summer!
After Sistar officially disbanded in 2017, member Hyolyn has also released solo summer songs like Bae and See Sea, which are without a doubt among our favorite songs from her discography.
Right after the finale of Queendom, the music competition in which she competed against other popular groups like WJSN, Loona and Kep1er, Hyolyn announced that she would release new music this very summer. Now it's official!
Yesterday, an amazing image teaser appeared on the singer's social media accounts, in which Hyolyn wears a dress made entirely of mirrored surfaces!

It's the first new album in almost two years! The last one, “Say My Name”, was released in August 2020. Since then, Hyolyn has only released three digital singles, including the song “Waka Boom”, which she recorded for Queendom.
Hyolyn is now the fourth Queendom contestant to announce a comeback since the end of the show. The albums “DOUBLAST” by Kep1er and “Flip That” by Loona were already released on Monday, and WJSN is also already in the starting blocks with “Sequence”.
