Have you been on TNX's social media in the last few days? Then you've surely noticed that TNX is releasing a new album called BOYHOOD in June! But there's something else you may have noticed: since their first anniversary on May 17, TNX has been calling themselves THE NEW SIX!
You can pre-order BOYHOOD in our shop starting today! The album will be released on June 8 and will be shipped from Germany around mid/end of June.
The young boy group was formed on the survival show “Loud” and is at home at P Nation, the label of K-Pop legend PSY.
Since yesterday, teasers for TNX's third mini album have been appearing on Twitter and Instagram. It started with a schedule, followed by a poster and details about the physical album. By now, there are even concept photos of the individual members!
The album cover and all the teasers say THE NEW SIX instead of TNX. The names of the social media accounts have been changed too: they all now have THE NEW SIX in the title, with TNX in brackets behind it.
It looks like TNX has a new name!
But that's not quite true. TNX is actually just an abbreviation for THE NEW SIX. The name stands for the six members of the group.
But while the boy group has so far been active under the abbreviation TNX, it seems they will now use the full version.
TNX is just one of many groups with abbreviations as names. Well-known examples are BTS (Bangtan Boys), NCT (Neo Culture Technology), TXT (Tomorrow x Together) or the new group ZB1 (ZEROBASEONE). We could go on with the list for a long time. Maybe the change of name is also a way for TNX to stand out.

THE NEW SIX (TNX) - BOYHOOD (3RD MINI ALBUM)
You can choose between the Nostalgia version and the Deja Vu version. Both consist of a colorful magazine with a photo of the six members on the cover. The magazine has 88 pages and contains a CD, a lyrics poster, a folded poster and a series of smaller extras. These include one of two possible photocards, one of six bookmarks, one of two sticker photos and one of six stamps. In addition, every buyer gets a Special Box and a so-called Paper Ttakji.
Variety is guaranteed, because everything is designed differently depending on the version, from the magazine to the CD to the photocards!
If you like to collect all versions of an album, you've come to exactly the right place, because you're guaranteed not to get anything twice!
According to the schedule, the tracklist will be revealed tomorrow. In fact, hardly a day will go by until the release on June 7 without a new teaser appearing. The time will surely fly by!
