An album to fall in love with: Choi Yena's "SQUARE SQUARE"!

It feels like it's been forever, but now she's finally back: 8 months after the mini album “Good Morning”, Choi Yena is presenting a new album! The first pictures were released recently, and they are as colorful, funny and unmistakable as ever.

The new project is Yena’s third single album, which has the Korean title “네모네모”. Translated, that means “SQUARE SQUARE” (German: “Quadratisch Quadratisch”. Take a look with us at the two lovingly designed versions:

This time Yena is giving her fans extra lots of love, because the packaging is a heart-shaped slipcase that holds the square photo book together. The photo book has 84 pages filled with colorful pictures of the cheerful singer.

The extras are just as colorful, because there are plenty of them and they are very different from each other:

Each album contains 2 out of 8 possible photo cards, one of 4 postcards, 2 photo stickers and 4 mini stickers. You also get a folded poster, a paper toy, a handwritten lucky letter and of course a CD.

If you are very lucky, there is even a limited Polaroid included! As the name suggests, the Polaroids are strictly limited and can only be found randomly in a few albums. You only find out whether you are one of the lucky fans once you open your copy of the CD. We're keeping our fingers crossed for you!

You can choose between the pink “네?” and the yellow “모!” version. The contents are all the same, but the motifs differ from each other. So it's worth getting the set, because you are guaranteed not to get anything twice!

YENA IS ALREADY CELEBRATING HER 3RD ANNIVERSARY AS A SOLO ARTIST IN JANUARY!

She became known as a member of the popular project group IZ*ONE, but has also made a name for herself as a solo artist. We got to know her as a cheerful and energetic singer, but over the course of her career Yena has experimented with different concepts and drawn musical inspiration from pop as well as hip-hop, EDM and trap. In August 2023 she made her debut in Japan and won over the hearts of fans there as well.

Today Yena has 2.6 million followers on Instagram and 7 solo albums in her discography. These include 3 mini albums, 2 single albums and 2 Japanese single albums. Most recently, in January, the Korean mini album “Good Morning” was released, including the title song of the same name, which spread optimism and good vibes. At the same time, Yena also performed the darker B-side “Good Girls in the Dark”, proving once again that she can bring different genres to the stage.
