The K-Pop world is buzzing: the girl group GFriend is reuniting almost four years after their breakup! The agency “Source Music” announced a few weeks ago that the six members of GFriend will return in January 2025 for a special project. This means the girl group is celebrating their 10th anniversary!
The project is above all a gift for the fans who have been longing for a comeback like this since the disbandment in May 2021. Now it's finally here! Precisely because many groups have celebrated a comeback after years-long breaks in recent years, the hope of Buddys (GFriend fans) all over the world grew that their favorite girl group would come together once more.
GFriend's last official project was several years ago. In 2020, the group released their last albums as part of the "回" series, which consists of two mini albums and one studio album.

The GFriend success story:
GFRIEND, consisting of the members Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB and Umji, debuted in January 2015 with the mini album „Season of Glass“. The group quickly gained attention for their powerful choreographies, their strong stage presence and their emotionally profound music. With hits like „Rough“, „Me Gustas Tu“ and „Navillera“ they reached the top of the Korean charts and collected numerous awards.
A milestone was the success of their song „Time for the Moon Night“, which dominated the music charts in 2018 and earned them international recognition. By that point at the latest, GFriend had established itself as one of the most innovative and most popular K-Pop girl groups. All the greater was the shock when the group went their separate ways in 2021.
We are hugely excited about the reunion and invite all Buddys to relive GFriend's best moments with the old albums!
