Itzy says "Checkmate" with new album in July!

Itzy fans have a reason to celebrate, because after almost 10 months, the charismatic girl group returns with a new Korean album!

Itzy released the album "Crazy in Love" at the end of September last year and performed the title track "Loco" on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" a few days later:

Since then, another Japanese compilation album titled "It'z Itzy" was released in December and the first Japanese single "Voltage" was released in April this year. But now it's finally time again for a whole album full of brand new songs!

Checkmate

Like last time with "Crazy In Love" there are five standard editions of Checkmate, each dedicated to one of the members!

Each version contains a 68-page photo book, which probably again consists mainly of photos of one of the members each.

There are also five different CD's this time, each printed with a different motif. Which one you get is up to chance, as with all the other extras. The extras include a lyric paper, a sticker, one of 5 folded mini posters and 2 of 25 photo cards.

Those who pre-order the album will also get one of 2 possible 5-piece postcard sets, one of 5 special cards, and one of 3 posters!

Unfortunately, you don't get to choose which photo book you get, but the excitement and surprise is almost the most fun when getting a new album, right? If you still want to make sure you get what you want, though, you can order all 5 versions as a set!
