The girl group has announced a new album titled "DOUBLAST", which will be released in just two weeks!
As of today, you can pre-order “DOUBLAST” in our shop!
By now, most K-pop fans have probably heard of Kep1er, the nine-member girl group that emerged from the survival show "Girls Planet 999". They debuted on January 3 of this year with the album “First Impact”. It topped the Gaon Album Charts, and the title track “Wa Da Da” earned Kep1er three music show wins! It also made it to number 13 on the US Billboard World Digital Song Sales Charts. With these first successes, the girl group quickly made it clear that we can expect a lot more from them!
The debut was five months ago now; a good time for their first comeback! While the members of Kep1er were preparing the new album, they even appeared alongside other girl groups such as Brave Girls, Hyolyn and WJSN in the music competition Queendom. They certainly won over a number of new fans there, who are now looking forward to the new album together with the “old fans”:
DOUBLAST
The new album was announced before the Queendom finale. Last week we briefly reported on it and already showed you the first mood image that Kep1er released. Now there are glimpses of the physical album, which we have summarized here for you:
This time there are two versions - LEM0N BLAST & B1UE BLAST - to choose from. Although they have things in common when it comes to the contents, there are also a lot of differences.
The predominantly yellow LEM0N BLAST version includes a 72-page photobook, a digipack including CD, 2 out of 18 possible photocards, one of 9 pop-up cards and one of 9 sticker sheets. If you order the album before June 21, you will also get a clear photocard and one of 9 posters as a pre-order bonus!
Buyers of the blue B1UE BLAST version also get a photobook, a digipack with CD and 2 out of 18 photocards. However, the photobook here has 80 pages. Of course, all contents are also designed differently depending on the version. This also applies to the photocards, because the designs of the 18 B1UE BLAST photocards, 2 of which can be found in every album, differ from those of the LEM0N BLAST version. If you take both versions together, that makes a total of 36 different photocards!
The other extras are interesting too, because they are completely different from those of the LEM0N BLAST version. Instead of a pop-up card and a sticker sheet, the B1UE BLAST version contains one of 9 photo stands and a coloring paper.
As a pre-order bonus, buyers also get one of 9 posters, but instead of the clear photocard, a clear photocard frame. The two extras would go well together, don't you think?
With all these differences, it is especially worth getting both versions of this album instead of deciding on just one!
Secure “DOUBLAST” in our shop now!
With a lot of luck, you can even get a signed Polaroid! However, that is extremely limited and only included in 250 albums in total. But you never know, right?
According to the Promotion Scheduler that Kep1er published on Twitter, we will get to see the first concept photo of the LEM0N BLAST version tomorrow!
How excited are you for the new album?
