Five months have passed since Monsta X released their 12th mini album “Reason” on January 9th. During this time, fans didn't have to do without the popular boy band completely:
In March, Joohoney made his solo debut with the mini album “Lights” and just a few days ago “Overdrive”, the second mini album by rapper I.M., was released. And today Monsta X has revealed a brand new project: the first-ever subunit SHOWNU
Seven very different versions were revealed on Twitter that could soon be part of your collection: two standard versions, two limited versions, two jewel limited versions and a KiT version. The titles of the versions already give some idea of what to expect, but let's take a closer look:
The two standard versions consist of an 84-page photo book, which is protected by a dust jacket.
There are two different envelopes. Which one you get is random. A few surprises await you inside: the CD, one of eight photo cards and one of four photos! If you pre-order the album, one of four possible paper tags will also be included.
The limited versions - UNSEEN and SEEN - also consist of a photo book.
However, this is larger and thicker with 92 pages. In addition to the CD, you will find one of four photo cards, one of three folded posters and one of four lenticular bookmarks.

Alternatively there are the Jewel Limited versions: SHOWNU VER. and HYUNGWON VER.
They are very different from the other limited versions. As the name suggests, buyers get a square jewel case. Each contains a 16-page photo book, one of four photo cards and one of four mini folding posters. It's a little smaller than the other versions, but you'll definitely get a photo book from the member of your choice. Perfect for anyone who would like to have a little more of their bias!
Do you prefer collecting digital albums? Don't worry, the boys have prepared something for that too:
The kit version not only offers the digital AiR kit with which you can access the songs and exclusive photos, but also 20 photo cards!
You will also receive a postcard, a title & credit card and one of two member photo cards. It's worth pre-ordering because you'll get another member photo card, also one of two!
The pre-order member cards are of course different from the normally included member cards, so you are guaranteed not to get anything twice.

Monsta X has been making hearts beat faster for over eight years now. The charismatic boy band celebrated a strong debut with Trespass on May 14, 2015 and has been topping the charts regularly since 2017 at the latest!
The quiet leader Shownu is best known for his talent as a dancer, but also attracts attention with his deep, melodious voice.
Hyungwon, meanwhile, stood out early on as an all-rounder who can both sing and dance and is also very good-looking. We're excited to see what the two of them have created together!
