Since his solo debut, Taemin has already released more than 10 albums, both in Korea and in Japan. Even so, the new album is something special, because it is the first since Taemin left SM Entertainment. The fifth mini album “ETERNAL” comes out on August 20, almost a year after its predecessor “Guilty”.
In April, Taemin signed a contract with BPM Entertainment for his solo career. For his activities with SHINee, however, he continues to work with SM Entertainment. BPM immediately released a new logo for Taemin and launched new social media channels. The first teasers for Taemin’s comeback with ETERNAL appeared there yesterday. A few hours ago, details about the different versions were also released!
TAEMIN HAS ANNOUNCED FOUR DIFFERENT VERSIONS:
The two Standard versions are called “Emotion” and “Motion”.
Both consist of an 80-page photo book that comes with a range of extras. The bigger extras include an eight-page booklet, a folded poster and the CD. On top of that, you get 2 of 6 possible photo cards, one of 3 postcards, a 5-piece film set and a message paper.
Almost every K-Pop album has a photo book, but this book is something special. At least the cover is. The product image carries a mysterious hint: “Check the cover of the photo book in the dark.” We are already curious what the darkness will reveal!
You can also order both versions with a Soundwave Selfie photo card. There are two different designs, which are still unknown for now. Which one you get is random. The Soundwave variant comes out on August 26.
In the Box version you will find a varied selection of extras:
A lenticular card, one of 4 possible photo cards with an envelope, an accordion book, a CD with a holder and a photo book with 48 pages. All of it is neatly stored in a rectangular box, which is additionally protected by a sleeve.
This version, too, is additionally available from us with one of 2 possible Soundwave Selfie photo cards.
The Film version has quite a lot to offer as well:
Take the photo book, for example. It has 120 pages and is therefore thicker than the books of the other two versions. On top of that come a digipack, a CD, a fabric poster and two stickers. The highlight is probably the Polaroids. Every buyer gets 2 of 6 possible designs.
As with the other versions, you can also order a random Soundwave Selfie photo card with this one.
TAEMIN IS VERY SUCCESSFUL BOTH AS A MEMBER OF SHINEE AND AS A SOLO ARTIST:
Not only his fans, but other idols too look up to him and admire his dance skills. Taemin’s albums regularly top the charts and his songs often turn into viral hits. For example, his 2017 song “Move” was covered so often by fans and other artists that the movement was called “Move disease”.
His latest single “Guilty” also drew attention mainly with an extraordinary choreography. So ETERNAL will undoubtedly cause a stir in the K-Pop scene as well!
