News from BTS: J-Hope releases HOPE Edition of Jack in the Box!

J-Hope had to say goodbye to his fans on April 18 because he started his military service on that day. The military service in South Korea lasts at least 18 months, so the rapper will return only in October 2024. So we won't hear anything new from him for quite some time, right? Wrong! As of today, you can pre-order a new version of J-Hope's debut album "Jack in the Box"!
It's been over a year since J-Hope unveiled his first official solo album Jack in the Box and stormed the charts worldwide with it. In February, a documentary centered around the album even appeared on Disney+. If you still can't get enough of the songs, you should check out the new HOPE edition!
Last year, a vinyl version and a Weverse album was released, which included digital content and a few photo cards.
The new HOPE Edition will be released on August 21 and will surely fulfill all the wishes that might have been left open:
This time, for example, you can expect a 100-page photo book. And that's just the beginning! In addition, it comes with one of two CD's, a 16-page lyric book and varied extras: photocards are just one of them. Each buyer gets two of four possible photo cards, one of two paper toys with instructions, two sticker sheets and one of two folded posters.
What exactly the paper toy is about we don't know yet, but the album preview reveals that it consists of 11 pages. Are you as curious as we are?

This announcement comes just three days after BTS Maknae Jungkook released his digital single "Seven (ft. Latto)".
Jungkook has already had some very successful solo singles since his debut with BTS, such as the FIFA World Cup song "Dreamers" and the soundtrack "Stay Alive". However, Seven is considered his debut single as all of his previous songs have appeared on BTS albums or served as soundtracks.
With Seven, Jungkook has once again outdone himself!
Among other things, the captivating pop song topped the Global Spotify Chart with almost 16 million streams and the music video has already been viewed almost 72 million times in just three days! Jungkook is the first K-pop artist to debut at the top of the Global Chart, surpassing even his bandmate Jimin. His song "Like Crazy" from the album FACE entered the chart at No. 2 in March. No Korean artist had managed that before him!
Jungkook is not only the first K-pop star to debut at the top of the chart, but also the first male artist in the entire world to reach more than 15 million streams on the first day. Before him, only Taylor Swift managed to do that!

BTS takes a break as a group, but as you can see, the members of the boy group defend their place at the top of the charts. We can't wait to see what record we can congratulate them on next!
