Park Jihoon, who became well known in 2017 as a member of Wanna One, announced a new mini album titled “Blank or Black” a week ago. Starting today, you can finally pre-order it in our shop!
Blank or Black will be released in South Korea on April 13 and will be shipped from Germany toward the end of April.
PARK JI HOON - BLANK OR BLACK (7TH MINI ALBUM)
The singer has revealed three varied versions, and now you can choose between them. Here is what exactly they have to offer:
Let's first take a look at the colorful Blank Space Version and the black-and-white Veiled Black Version.
At first glance, they look very similar. Both include a 68-page photobook, a CD, a Blank Message card, one of four possible mini posters and one of six photocards.
But even though the versions are set up the same way, you will discover plenty of differences. That's because all the contents are designed differently depending on the version. The photobook and the extras in the Blank Space Version show different motifs than the ones in the Veiled Black Version. So if you buy the set with both versions, you are guaranteed not to get anything twice!
If you order the album before April 13, you can optionally get a poster as well. That also differs depending on the version!
Alternatively, there is also the Nemo Album.
It consists of a rectangular sleeve, not much bigger than a photocard. Inside you will find a series of photocards: a Nemo card with a QR code on the back, seven jacket photocards and one of three possible selfie photocards! To use the QR code, you need the Nemoz app. Scan the QR code with the app and check out the different digital contents: exclusive photos, videos and of course the songs from the album!
Speaking of songs …
Park Ji Hoon has already revealed a schedule and the tracklist on Twitter:
Blank or Black consists of six tracks including the title track “Blank Effect”.
And luckily, we don't have to wait long for more glimpses of the album! According to the schedule, a trailer is coming out tomorrow, followed by the first concept photos on April 1. And of course, a highlight medley and one or two MV teasers will be released in the last days before the release. Keep your eyes peeled!
Blank or Black is actually already Park Jihoon's eighth solo album!
Since his solo debut with the mini album “O’Clock” in March 2019, the singer has released about two albums per year. Together with the four albums he recorded with Wanna One, Jihoon can already look back on 12 albums.
On top of that, he is also active as an actor. Most recently, Jihoon was seen in the web series “Weak Hero Class 1” in November 2022. The series turned out to be a big hit! So we're not surprised that a new project is already in the starting blocks. This year, Jihoon is set to star in a film called “Audrey”.
