Five months after “Be Awake", The Boyz have announced a new album that is attracting attention in several ways. The title stands out first: [PHANTASY] Pt.1 CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST. Christmas in August? Is that even possible? We are sure that The Boyz will convince us!
And what else is special about the album? It is a full album! Since their debut at the end of 2017, The Boyz have released no fewer than twelve Korean albums, but those are mainly mini albums and single albums. So far there is only one full album called “Reveal”, which was released in 2020. Now a second one is finally coming, so this time fans can look forward to more new songs than usual!
Besides brand-new songs, we can of course expect photobooks, photocards and other extras again. We introduce all the versions to you:
THE BOYZ - [PHANTASY] Pt.1 CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST (2ND FULL ALBUM)
“Holiday”, “Glitter” and “Present”. Those are the names of the first three versions that The Boyz revealed today. True to the album title, they too create a Christmas mood.

Every version comes with a 64-page photobook and a CD in a separate CD case. The photobook and CD case are held together and protected by an outer sleeve.
When you open the album, you will discover a bunch of little gifts!
These include two of 22 possible postcards, two of 22 photocards, a track sticker, a ticket, a mini card brochure, a bookmark, a metal clip and two of eleven still photos. According to the preview, these still photos are the same in all versions. That means all the other contents are different. So if you order a set of all three versions, you are guaranteed to get nothing twice, apart from the sticker!
Do you like collecting all versions of an album, or do you pick just one?
THE BOYZ - [PHANTASY] Pt.1 CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST (DVD VER.)
The DVD version consists of a case that is reminiscent of DVD cases. Inside you will find a CD, a 16-page mini book, a postcard and one of three possible photocards.
There are 11 different DVD versions; each one is dedicated to one of The Boyz members: Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Ju Haknyeon, Sunwoo or Eric. Who is your bias?
Unfortunately, we only receive the different versions at random, so we can only offer them at random in the shop as well. However, you can note a wish in the notes field when you order. We will do our best to fulfil it! Please note that, despite all our efforts, this is not always possible.
Christmas in August? Is that even possible?

The Boyz show us how it works! Concept photos for the new project have been appearing on Instagram for two days now. In this first concept, “Present”, the guys wear swim trunks and bathe in a turquoise lake in the jungle. That is not the typical Christmas as we know it, but you can celebrate anywhere, right?
The Boyz started their career on December 6, 2017 with twelve members and already reached number 3 on the Korean Gaon Album Chart with their debut album.
Hwall left the boy group in October 2019 for health reasons and later started a solo career.
The Boyz didn't let themselves be discouraged and have been conquering the stage as eleven ever since. They never keep their fans waiting for long and release at least two albums a year. Thanks to the fans' support, they have also topped the charts regularly since 2019. Since when have you been cheering on the boy group! We are keeping our fingers crossed that the new album will be a success, too!
