It's hard to believe that Le sserafim debuted just under a year ago. The girl group is already one of the most popular K-pop artists of the fourth generation, even though they have only released two Korean albums and one Japanese single album. However, their previous releases have already earned Le sserafim several awards, music show trophies and high chart positions.
So we don't doubt that Sakura, Kazuha and co. will also celebrate new achievements with their next project. In fact, a new album is already in the wings:
LE SSERAFIM - UNFORGIVEN (1ST STUDIO ALBUM)
UNFORGIVEN is Le sserafim's first studio album after two mini albums. It will be released on April 3, just in time for their first anniversary on May 2!
This time the girl group has revealed 10 different versions, even one more than for Antifragile in October: three photobook versions, five compact versions and two Weverse album versions. We're summarizing all the content to help you decide:
The three photobook versions are called Vol. 1, Vol. 2 and Vol. 3.
They all consist of a photo book with 128 pages! That's quite a lot compared to other albums, whose photo books usually have between 60 and 100 pages. We don't know yet what images await us in them, but according to Le sserafim's schedule, the first concept photos will be released on April 12! So we don't have to be patient much longer.
The thick photo book is our highlight, but of course there's much more: a CD, one of five possible photo cards, a sticker, a postcard, and a heat-sensitive postcard. The latter is particularly exciting: after all, we can't remember ever getting a heat-sensitive postcard as an extra in an album before!
If you order the album before the release on April 3, there will be an optional folded poster included.
If you're thinking of getting all three versions, you should definitely consider the "+ Weverse Gift" variant. (Attention: This variant is available separately in the store!)
If you get this set, you'll get a whole bunch of Weverse Gifts in addition:
- Unpublished Selfie Photo Card Set (5 pcs) + 3 Magnetic Frames + Hologram Photo Frame (1 of 2).
Before you make your decision, though, you should check out the other releases, because they're just as exciting!
For example, there are the five Compact versions, Vol. 1 to Vol. 5.
They are square and smaller than the photo book versions. Each of them contains a 16-page booklet, a CD, one of 3 photo cards, a postcard and poetry posters.
Such compact versions were also available for the second mini album Antifragile, so we assume that this time too each version is dedicated to one of the five members: Sakura, Chaewon, Eunchae, Yujin or Kazuha. Perfect for those who want a bit more of their bias! However, you can only order the Compact version at random, so it depends on luck which variant you get. Feel free to leave a note with a wish when you order, but we can't guarantee it will be fulfilled.
If you want to be absolutely sure, you can get a complete set! Because here is also a separate set variant "+ Weverse Gift".
Who decides for the set + Weverse Gift, gets in addition to the five Compact versions:
- Photo Card Set (5 pcs.) + Special Album Cover + Acrylic Photo Card Frame.
Finally, there are two Weverse Album versions: A & B.
You can expect a folding poster, an instruction manual, an instant photo, one of three possible photo card sets (with 5 cards each) and a sticker set (3 pcs.). The most important part is the QR photo card. Each buyer gets one of five QR cards, which are the same size as regular photo cards and also feature a member of Le sserafim on the front. But it's all about the QR code on the back. It gives you access to exclusive photos and videos.
There is also a version with Weverse Gift. It's worth it, because every version, whether Random, A or B, comes with two extras:
- Hologram photo card (1 out of 5) + 1 layer frame (1 out of 2).
If you choose the set with both versions, you will get:
- Hologram photo cards (2 out of 5) + layered frame set (2 pcs.)
Listing all these versions, we are getting quite out of breath. But there's nothing better than a wide selection, because then there's definitely something for everyone! Which version do you like best?
Yesterday, Le sserafim released a schedule on Twitter that gives us an overview of which teasers we can look forward to in the coming weeks: The first to be released is an album trailer on April 10, followed by the first concept photos on April 12.
