“The story of a man who meets a tragic end, and a woman who travels 15 years back in time to save him.” That is the plot of the hit drama “Lovely Runner”, which has captured viewers’ hearts over the past few weeks.
From today you can pre-order the soundtrack album for the series. Buyers even get two albums at once! It is already being released on June 5.
Im Sol (Kim Hye Yoon) is a cheerful schoolgirl who ends up in a wheelchair after an accident and has lost her smile ever since. When she hears the up-and-coming singer Ryu Seon Jae (Byeon Woo Seok) on the radio, she finds courage again and becomes his biggest fan. But when she learns years later that Ryu Seon Jae has taken his own life, her heart breaks. As if by a miracle, Im Sol travels 15 years back into the past. There she meets the 19-year-old student Ryu Seon Jae and does everything she can to save him.
Fans of the series are currently waiting longingly for the last two episodes, which will be released at the end of the week. If you don’t know the drama yet, now is the perfect opportunity to watch it and experience the finale live: Romance, comedy, suspense and one unexpected twist after another await you!
THE OST ALBUM HAS PLENTY TO OFFER TOO:
On the cover, the main couple Im Sol & Ryu Seon Jae smile at you. The whole album shines in cheerful yellow and blue and is decorated with cute symbols such as rainbows, hearts and flowers.
In the box you will find a digipack with two CDs, a 72-page photo book and lots of colorful extras! These include, among other things, a four-piece photocard set and a four-piece message postcard set. You also get a film photo, a photo stand, a bookmark and a puzzle magnet.
The album really leaves nothing to be desired, but in fact it is only half of the whole!
If you turn the album around, it suddenly looks completely different:
The cover shows a solar eclipse and the matching extras are also kept in dark colors.
This second half is a special mini album by the boy group “ECLIPSE” from the series! Of course it features the lead role Ryu Seon Jae, played by Byeon Woo Seok (Strong Girl Nam Soon). Also his three bandmates, played by Lee Seung Hyub (member of the boy group N.Flying), Moon Xion (While You Were Sleeping) and Yang Hyuk (member of the boy group OMEGA X).
The album consists of a digipack, one CD, a 68-page photo book and several extras. You can look forward to four photocards, a photo frame and a special ticket, for example. In addition, you will find a charm and a sticker in the box. Finally, there is also a limited poster, but only while supplies last!
As you can see, you get two albums in one! Which of them are you looking forward to the most?
Right from the start, the series drew attention with high viewership ratings:
Yesterday, Lovely Runner set a new personal best with its 14th episode. The average nationwide viewership rating was 4.8 percent. This does not put Lovely Runner in the top 10 of tvN’s most successful dramas of all time, but it performs better than the competition from the other broadcasters. For comparison: “Crash” from the channel “ENA” is currently at 4.1 percent. “Dare to Love Me” from KBS2 recently reached 1.4 percent.
