Five different versions, brand-new songs, photocards, postcards and much more: that's what the new album by Blackpink has to offer you. After more and more information was announced over the last few days, you can finally pre-order “Born Pink” starting today!
To help you make your decision, let's take a closer look at the versions:
First up are the three Box Set versions - Black, Pink & Grey. They all consist of a rectangular box with the name of the girl group, the name of the album and two fangs at the top edge on the lid. So from the outside the box is rather simple, but it gets really exciting when you open it! Inside you'll find a CD, an 80-page photobook, an envelope, an accordion lyric paper, one of four possible large photocards, one of four postcards and 2 of 8 instant film polaroids. It's like a little treasure chest for all the fans who have waited so long for a new album!
If you order the album before the release on September 16, you'll also get a sticker and optionally a poster! The stickers are strictly limited, so you'd better order sooner rather than later if you want to have everything.
Without exception, all contents, from the photobook to the photocards, are designed differently depending on the version.
So you're guaranteed not to get any design twice, even if you order all three versions. Do you always get more than one version of an album, or do you usually pick the prettiest one?
If you'd rather listen to the songs digitally than on CD, you should go for the KiT Album. Buyers get a small square box containing the KiT, which lets you download the digital content to your phone. Besides the KiT, the box also contains a few physical extras: a 12-piece set of square photocards, an accordion lyric paper, a credit paper and one of four possible instant film polaroids! Here, too, it pays to be quick, because all First Press copies also include one of four possible pop-up cards!
With the Vinyl Album, all vinyl fans get their money's worth too. The record won't be released until December 30, but just like the other versions it can be pre-ordered in our shop starting today.
Records are often sold out long before their release, so you shouldn't wait too long if you want to secure one!
A few hours ago on Instagram, Blackpink uploaded not only the album details but also two sets of image teasers. We're already looking forward to more teasers and, most of all, to the pre-release single “Pink Venom”, which comes out in just over a week, on August 19!
