NCT fans had plenty to celebrate this year: NCT 127 presented a new album in January, Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo debuted as a unit and Taeyeong recently made his solo debut with Shalala. But what about NCT Dream? The unit last released their winter album Candy in December 2022. That was already half a year ago.
Time for something new, right? The boy group thought so too: Today SM Entertainment announced that NCT Dream will return on July 17 with a new album called ISTJ!
NCT DREAM COMEBACK ON JULY 17
Korean news outlets like Korea JoongAng Daily and Korea Herald reported on the comeback just a few hours ago, because there are actually already some details about the album:
As mentioned, it will be called ISTJ and will be released on July 17. Including the title track of the same name, the boy group will present 10 new songs. You'll be able to add one of them to your playlist very soon: Next Monday, a pre-release single called “Broken Melodies” will be released!
Maybe you've already heard about it, because earlier this month NCT Dream briefly teased the song at a concert in Seoul:
According to SM, the album contains many different genres. So variety is guaranteed!
Monday is not only the day you can hear Broken Melodies for the first time, but also the day the pre-order phase for ISTJ will start. Stop by our shop next week and browse through the different versions. ;)
NCT Dream is currently still traveling from country to country for their The Dream Show 2 World Tour. The tour began in September 2022 and will end in Mexico on July 11, a few days before the comeback. So the boy group isn't taking a break, but continues to work hard to delight their fans with new music!
NCT Dream is not the only SM Entertainment artist releasing an album in the coming weeks:
On June 26, the iconic 2nd Generation boy group SHINee celebrates its 15th anniversary with the 8th Full Album HARD. On July 10, the eagerly awaited comeback of EXO will also take place. So the summer will be dominated by SM boy groups!
Which comeback are you looking forward to the most?
