NCT 127 recently released a winter album together with the other artists of SM Entertainment and, not even four months ago, their fourth full album 2 Baddies. Still, fans can already look forward to a new album! It will be released on January 30.
Ay-yo
The new album is titled “Ay-yo” and is a repackage of 2 Baddies. In addition to the 12 songs from 2 Baddies, it will contain three brand-new tracks. These include the title track, which is called “Ay-yo” just like the album.
Of course, there are not only new songs, but also new physical albums with completely new concepts! You can choose from a whole 11 versions:
Buyers of the A Version get an 88-page booklet and a whole lot of extras. These include a logo sticker, one of nine possible photo postcards, one of nine folded posters, one of nine stickers and one of nine photo cards.
The B Version also comes with a photo book, but this one has no less than 160 pages! On top of that, you get one of nine possible photo postcards, one of nine folded posters and one of nine photo cards.
With both versions you optionally get a poster as well if you order them before January 30!
What do you prefer: lots of extras and therefore a thinner photo book, or fewer extras and a thick photo book? There is definitely something for every taste. And that was not all!
Alternatively, there are also nine Digipack versions, one for each member of NCT 127: Taeil, Johnny, Taeyeong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Mark and Haechan.
Each of these contains a booklet, a folded poster and one of nine possible photo cards. The Digipack versions are perfect if you want a little more of your bias.

Yesterday, the boy group uploaded a schedule on Twitter. Thanks to it, we know exactly which teasers we can look forward to next. For example, the first image teasers will be released starting Monday. We can hardly wait!
2 Baddies set a high bar!
With this album, NCT 127 not only set personal records, but once again proved that they are among the really big names in the K-pop industry.
In the first week after its release alone, 1.5 million copies of 2 Baddies were sold! No other SM Entertainment artist has achieved that before them, and that really says something. After all, the label is also home to the other NCT units and K-pop legends such as Super Junior, Girls’ Generation or SHINee!
In addition, 2 Baddies is one of only 18 albums from 2022 that sold more than one million copies in South Korea! That gives NCT 127 four million sellers already. The only groups that have more are currently the boy groups BTS and Seventeen.
Furthermore, alongside BTS, NCT 127 is the only K-pop artist to have made it onto the American Billboard 200 chart with three different albums.
We are sure that the boy group will celebrate many successes with their new album “Ay-yo” as well. We are already looking forward to it!
