Ryujin is shrouded in shadow, we can barely see more than her silhouette slowly raising her head. That's how a video titled ITZY “KILL MY DOUBT” begins. With this video, the girl group announced a new album two days ago! It will be released on July 31, eight months after their last album “Cheshire”.
KILL MY DOUBT is ITZY's seventh mini album with six brand-new songs. Three of the songs get their own music video! The schedule that popped up on Twitter last night reveals this and more. It makes clear that ITZY has worked hard on this comeback over the last eight months!
It's not the first time that Chaeryeong, Yuna and the others have released a pre-release single, but this time there are two of them:
It kicks off with a song called BET ON ME. The music video is coming out as early as July 3! One teaser after another will follow: concept photos, album spoilers, a multi-part album documentary and of course several MV teasers.
ITZY will present the second music video on July 24, just one week before the album's release. The song is called “None of My Business”.
The big finale takes place on July 31: on that day ITZY will unveil the album and a music video for the title track CAKE. The remaining three songs are called Bratty, Psychic Lover and Kill Shot.
An exciting month is undoubtedly ahead for MIDZYs!
Last year ITZY released two albums - Cheshire & Checkmate -, both of which are among the best-selling albums of the year. They are the group's first and so far only albums to sell more than one million copies! We're curious whether ITZY can continue this streak of success with the new album.
KILL MY DOUBT is not the only ITZY fan item you can currently pre-order from us:
On top of that, at the end of May the girl group announced a DVD and BLU-RAY of their first world tour “Checkmate in Seoul”! If you missed this news, you can find out more about it here. The DVD will be released on July 26 and the BLU-RAY on August 30.
