Jimin from BTS has broken several records with his album FACE!

BTS has been on stage for almost 10 years now and has broken countless records during this time. You might think that more is not possible, but the guys achieve new highs over and over again! And not only as a group, but also solo:

Today, Jimin became the first Korean solo artist ever to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart!

In doing so, he breaks the long-standing record held by PSY, who reached #2 with Gangnam Style in 2012. And the song that earned Jimin this success is, of course, "Like Crazy", the title track from his first solo album FACE!

Jimin is not only the first BTS member to top the Hot 100 on his own, but also the first of them to ever make it into the Top 20. BTS as a group has topped the chart multiple times; with "Butter", "Dynamite" or "Life Goes On" among others. We are proud to see that not only the group, but also the individual members are exceeding fans' expectations and conquering all the charts.

After all, the other members have also set various records with their solo releases:

RM with Indigo, for example, reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. No other Korean solo artist has ever made it that high on the chart!

And Jin sold 700,000 copies of his single album "Astronaut"on the first day after its release, according to Hanteo, more than any solo artist before. This record was only recently broken by Jimin himself, as FACE sold more than a million copies on its first day!

It's probably only a matter of time before Jimin and his band members break another record. Probably Suga is next, because the rapper has already announced his first solo album "D-Day". We're keeping our fingers crossed for him!
