The debut of NMIXX was almost exactly a year ago now; in just two days the girl group will celebrate its first anniversary. And before this first, exciting year comes to an end, the official lightstick has now been revealed! It will be released on March 13 and shipped from Germany towards the end of March.
NMIXX Light Stick
You may have noticed that the lightstick was announced on Twitter on February 17. The announcement was accompanied by an image which, although it was in black and white, already showed very clear contours. Like most lightsticks, the head piece is a round, transparent sphere. Inside it you can see a whale blowing a fountain of water out of its blowhole.
It was already clear after this first glimpse that the NMIXX Light Stick would be one of those that stand out from the crowd, because many of them simply show the logo or the name of the respective group.
Today the girl group has finally uploaded a clear photo in which all the colors and details can be seen clearly. The comments on Twitter are filled with enthusiastic fans who find the Light Stick both cute and incredibly beautiful!
And rightly so, because inside the sphere there is not only a very detailed model of a white whale and a transparent fountain of water. In addition, the lower half of the sphere is filled with blue-turquoise waves from which the whale rises. Like the whale, the stick of the Light Stick is also white. At the top, NMIXX is written in silver lettering.
This unusual and colorful Light Stick will certainly soon be the centerpiece of countless K-Pop collections. Even those who aren't NMIXX fans might feel tempted to buy the Light Stick. We love whales, fish and the sea and would get it for that reason alone.
In addition to the Light Stick itself, buyers also get a matching box, a warranty card and a hand strap. The box is also decorated with a whale. If you order the Light Stick before the release on March 13, you will also receive a 6-piece photocard set!
What's the story with the whale?
It can be seen in the music video of NMIXX's debut song “O.O”:
The whale can be seen at 1:53.
In the video “Docking Station: Declaration”, which was released two weeks ago on the YouTube channel of JYP Entertainment, the girl group also mentions new friends they have met so far on their journey: a lion, a whale, jellyfish and cats.
