10 days ago, the boy group Stray Kids released their studio album 5-Star, which already broke records in its first week. The album isn't even two weeks old yet, but the guys already have exciting news for their fans: in a few days, a new lightstick will be unveiled!
And that's not all: from mid-August to the end of October, Stray Kids will play five concerts as part of their 5-STAR DOME TOUR 2023. However, these concerts all take place in Korea and Japan, so they are rather hard to access for international fans. But in return, you can add the new lightstick to your collection very soon!
You have surely seen the Stray Kids lightstick before:
A white stick with a transparent orb at the top, with a compass inside it. The lightstick is popular among fans because, unlike many others, it doesn't simply show the boy group's logo. Also, the compass inside the orb can spin! It has no direction and conveys the message “You Make Stray Kids STAY” (You make Stray Kids stay.)
The lightstick is called Nachimbong and was released in November 2019, 20 months after the boy group's debut in March 2018.
Stray Kids - Official Lightstick Ver.2
Today, more than three and a half years later, Stray Kids has uploaded a teaser video for Ver.2 of the iconic lightstick!
As with many K-Pop lightsticks, the new version is quite similar to the old one. Here, too, the lightstick consists of a white stick with an orb at the top that contains a compass. But while the compass looked the same from both sides last time, this time it can only be seen from one side. The other side is a black disc. In the teaser, various symbols flicker across the black disc. We will surely find out everything the lightstick can actually do on Friday, because that's when Ver.2 is supposed to be officially unveiled.
We can hardly wait!
